Experiential learning works well in every classroom with group discussion and peer interaction weaved in.

Also taking into consideration their emotional as well as holistic development.
ReplyDelete"All children are capable though they are differently capable."

Every child is unique, for that teacher needs to identify the different needs of students and then can engage themselves in various activities planned in a way which are based on different learning styles which involve their being playful, interactive, responsive, creative, learn holistically and through their senses. Play is the most effective way to give children hands-on experiences. Children may improve their thought, vocabulary, imagination, speaking, and listening skills through imaginative play, whether they are reconstructing real situations or creating imaginary worlds. This prepares them for communicating and engaging effectively with others. Play that really engages a child, play that a child will focus on and stay with even when problems arise.

In this way I will be able to cater all the needs of students in my classroom and learning will be joyful.

ReplyDeleteYes, its very true that every child is unique and their learning style is different, and in order to make them understand the concepts well we need to grab their full attention and develop interest in the topic. this can be done by relating the problems of the topic with them, i,e by using real life problems. for example, if i have to explain Pythagoras theorem to the students i will first explain the formula and then will give them a problem like "Anshu ( a student of my class) is cycling towards east at a speed of 20m/s. After 5sec he met Shubham (another student) and they decided to go to Pizza Hut which is 300m towards South from there. now calculate the distance travelled and the displacement possessed by them.
ReplyDeleteYES..ITS VERY TRUE..EVERY CHILD IS DIFFERENT.EACH CHILD UNIQUE..BY TEACHING THEM THROUGH DAILY LIFE EXAMPLES AND ACTIVITIES,WE CAN TAKE MORE ATTENTION FROM THEM

I have also asked them to prepare separate assessment test for different students based on their learning style, though it adds to teachers work but the results are good. all can not learn at the same rate and from the same learning style. Apart from that I do a lot of voice modulation and facial expression and body movements too. ReplyDeleteChildren learn in different ways and their thinking are different, at time I try to make group with students having similar learning behaviour, or make or share an activity which has different levels like easy, medium and difficult.
ReplyDeleteEvery child is unique and their learning style is different. I believe that every child is unique and has his or her own temperament and learning style. Each child needs to observed and then teacher can come to a conclusion, what he/she likes, is his/her learning style, where each child needs help, and tecaher can then make an action plan and work accordingly

ReplyDeleteYes, Each child is unique and each one has different learning style. I cater to the different needs of the students by using different ways of learning. Learning by doing is the most preferred way of learning which include hands on activity etc. We try to connect them with different forms of Art and culture as per their interest
Yes . Every child is unique and has individual needs which the teacher needs to cater to. In order to achieve the learning outcomes, teachers should plan activities in a way which focuses on holistic development including psychomotor, cognitive and affective domains. Teacher can incorporate art in the subject for creative students, can include bodily kinesthetic based activities for students who construct their own knowledge by "learning by doing".
ReplyDeleteAs a teacher, you need to meet the needs of the students in your class, no matter their abilities. Use the information to your advantage when planning lessons by differentiating intentionally with groups of learners in mind. If you’re often finding that lessons are too easy for some students and more challenging for others, differentiation will surely help your teaching practice and your learners. A great way to ensure you’re meeting students where they are is to have them participate in student-centered activities. When the classroom shifts from being teacher-centered to student-focused, students are more engaged and invested in their learning. Plus, students are constructing their own knowledge, which is a more effective way to learn. Leave nothing to chance; instead, use age- and grade-level appropriate language to describe to students exactly what their purpose, aim, or objective is. Explain the objective at the start of the lesson. Give students a rationale for why this learning is taking place. Refer back to the objective throughout the lesson to check for understanding.
ReplyDeleteEach child is unique. And their learning pace and understanding takes place in different levels.
ReplyDeleteIn order to cater to the different needs of the children, I would use various methods like:-
1. Engage students about subject matter and thus gauge their levels of understanding.
2. Initiate asking questions, and interaction from the students.
3. Ask for oral summaries.
4. Differentiate instructions.
5. Incorporate Multiple Learning Intelligences.
6. Involve students
7. Use computerized instructions.
8. use play-way methods.
9. Dramatize with music and singing.
EACH CHILD IS UNIQUE AND WE NEED TO RESPECT THIS. AS A TEACHER WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT NO ONE SHOE FITS ALL. A GOOD TEACHER MUST PLAN THE CURRICULUM IN SUCH A MANNER THAT HELPS IN THE LEARNING OF ALL CHILDREN. A TEACHER CAN MAKE USE OF COMPETENCY BASED METHOD TO ENABLE CHILDREN TO WORK IN A TEAM. THIS WAY EACH CHILD'S POTENTIAL IS TAPPED PROPERLY AND ALL THREE WAYS OF LEARNING TAKE PLACE- *TEACHER TO CHILD,*CHILD TO CHILD AND *CHILD WIH ENVIRONMENT .
ReplyDeleteEach child is different and unique. Their learning abilities are also different. Teaching should be imparted keeping their needs in mind.
ReplyDeleteYes, I believe that every child is unique. The teachers should provide them with a variety of learning opportunities for effective learning, such as using diversified resources rather than focusing only on textbooks, and making use of a spectrum of intelligences and multi-sensory experiences.
ReplyDeleteEngage the student in conversation about the subject matter.
Question students about the material.
Indulge them in Play-way based activities.
Involve them in more active learning and hands on activities.
Have them tape lectures and review them with you.
Have them tape themselves reviewing material and listen to it together.
Read material aloud to them.
Yes,I truly believe that every child is unique.
ReplyDeleteEvery child is unique hence we must understand their needs and cater to their requirements.
ReplyDeleteChildren learn by observing others too and also that they do not forget those activities which they love doing. Hence critical thinking and motor skills are both necessary for the academics to progress.
ReplyDeleteI do agree with the thought that every child is different and unique in his or her own way. As teachers we have the huge responsibility to cater to the needs of every single child in the best possible way. So we should be very careful in planning and organising our teaching learning material so that it can serve to the multiple intelligence of a class.
ReplyDeleteYes ,every child is unique . We must gradually identify their potential and help them enjoy the process of gaining knowledge .
ReplyDeleteI believe every child is unique. This is the reponsibility of a teacher to cater their needs
ReplyDeleteYes I do believe that each child is unique and has his / her own way of learning things. Some children are more vocal and grasp concepts with good vocabulary. Some children may learn the same concept better if taught in a musical way as they connect to music and so on. Here as a teacher while planning a concept I will see to it that it caters to most of the multiple intelligence. Eg: If I have to narrate a story I will use gestures and movements in it for kinesthetic learners. During the story I will use jingles and repetition for children who learn through music. After the story will conduct a group activity for children to cater to interpersonal learners. This way I will plan the lesson to cater to unique needs of every learner.
ReplyDeleteYes I believe that every child has different needs. As I take English classes and many a times there are children those do not want to study. Therefore to create their interest in the subject I have to take the class towards something funny and mind freshening and gradually drag them back to the topic. At times explaining the importance of the topic in our daily life is also useful.
ReplyDeleteYes,I believe every child is unique and has a different way of learning. they want to acquire knowledge practically by doing everything themselves....as it remains within their memory lane throughout their lives . this also helps in the development of a child.
ReplyDeleteindeed every child is different and we have to cater to each child's needs. some children need more time to understand and can do better if they are given hands on activities.
ReplyDeleteBy identifying special need of child
ReplyDeleteYes, every child is unique, even having been brought up in a common environment. There are values, abilities and basic behaviour which may vary to a great extent even among siblings. All children create a perception of the world around them from the stimulus they receive in terms of interaction with their parents, peers, teachers, etc.
ReplyDeleteEvery child is unique and grasps differently, hence children put in a same environment will come up with different interests, learning habits etc. Hands on learning is an added tool to help students learn through experiencing the same if possible. They should not be restricted to the books and should be given freedom to explore.
ReplyDeleteEvery child is unique so so they have different needs and interest. Bhimas full feel every child need so hands online learning is a useful tool for student

ReplyDeleteThis is completely true that every child is unique and to cater children's need we should adopt different methods of teaching. Child should be given opportunity of self learning also.
ReplyDeleteLearners must be introduced to non threating environment like avoiding harsh words, respecting every learners potential and not comparing any two learners progress ,being sensitive to learners emotional, physicaland spiritual needs and most importantantly donning the role of being guide on side .
ReplyDeleteYes , I agree that every child is different. To cater maximum in classroom teaching a teacher has to keep in mind the individual differences of students of her /his class. Accordingly , a teacher has to plan his/her lessons and related activities. Method of teaching and pace of teaching should be compatible to each and every child of the class.
ReplyDeleteEvery child is unique and their learning style is different. They have their own abilities , interests, different way of learning, understanding their likings and different congitive abilities too.Every child is an artist in their own ways of knowledge. We should not make pressure on students to learn.
ReplyDeleteAs every child is unique, all are coming from different backgrounds...First by knowing the psychology of each child we can strategise our teaching techniques and make the learning environment creative and interesting. For holistic development of child like for physical, social, mental, moral we can strategise and thus, encourage the child to learn in the field of their interest and help them achieve their goal .
ReplyDeletees i do believe every child is different in his own way and they need different learning style accordingly. For eg. I take dance classes for my class some child are not interested in doing dance steps . They are more keen in doing fun movements like - Freeze game , action songs. Activities be designed to involve their senses, problem solving ,roleplay, by forming group and assigning a task ,story telling etc.
ReplyDeleteEvery child is unique and has individual needs which the teacher needs to cater to. In order to achieve the learning outcomes, teachers should plan activities in a way which focuses on holistic development
ReplyDeleteYes every child is unique and following the four modules of learning viz. kinesthetic, logical, visual and spatial, language, apart from nature and intra and interpersonal skills learning methods. children love to explore and ask more of why and how instead of blindly following the 'rot memoriztation techniques'. even the multiplication tables can be taught using food items and making them to group accordingly and teach that multiplication is nothing but repeated addition and hence multiplication helps in saving time and energy .
ReplyDeleteYes, Every child is unique, so we should adopt different activities in the class which may help each individual in a different way. Different tasks can be given to the students according to their interests.
ReplyDeleteEvery child is unique gift of God and learns differently. Thus, the teacher must use different learning styles to improve their learning graph.
ReplyDeleteCreating an environment where children can learn in a manner that is engaging, exciting and appealing is a big challenge to any teacher. A reading corner is an easy and effective activity area. Keeping puzzles and word cards in boxes can form another area. Dolls and toys are easy to obtain and can for an area of great interest too. a lot of random objects like sticks , beads and other objects found lying around can form an interesting area. Children can give wings to their creativity by making models with items chosen from this corner.
ReplyDeleteEvery child is different .

ReplyDeleteYes each child is unique and the way of learning is different
ReplyDeleteYes each child is unique in his/her own way. In order to incorporate their skills in a productive direction planning must be done accordingly. Like if a child is more into computers then we can ask them to prepare powerpoint presentations related to the topics or thise who are interested in arts can be asked to draw diagrams for better understanding of the topics.
ReplyDeleteOffer choices- Encourage children to participate and explore in the way they prefer. Some children may prefer to work individually, with a partner, in a small group, or in a large group.
ReplyDeletePlan for possibilities. As you plan an activity to share with the children, think about how you can adjust the activity in the moment for children who need more time, more support, or experience with concrete materials to understand the concept. Also consider how you will scaffold the experience to challenge children who are advanced learners.
Empower children to document their learning. Digital child portfolios are a wonderful addition to teachers’ classrooms, replacing large, dusty boxes of notes, artwork, writing samples, and photos. Let’s not forget that the power of a child’s portfolio lies in her selection of what she is proud of and her reflection on her learning.
Provide a variety of learning materials. At this age, most preschool children benefit from having a collection of concrete objects to manipulate and explore.
